May 2017..cannot download updated Mobile Remote. on Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitain)..Downloader has been successfully installed..when I try to download update all i get is the instruction to download the Downloader…frustrating and useless SONY!

  Are you referring to the Camera Remote Control app? If so, the update is fully compatible with El Capitan. I updated a dozen cameras using El Cap. Just follow these directions.
