It works for me, however it does not work on the recently released Android 7.
It most certainly does NOT work for my Sony A77ii to SE WiFi connection.

May 2017..cannot download updated Mobile Remote. on Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitain)..Downloader has been successfully installed..when I try to download update all i get is the instruction to download the Downloader…frustrating and useless SONY!
Are you referring to the Camera Remote Control app? If so, the update is fully compatible with El Capitan. I updated a dozen cameras using El Cap. Just follow these directions.
