Why the USB connection setting on my ILCE-1 is stuck (gray) to “-“? I can’t change to other settings. I’d like to set it to “Mass Storage” for an upgrade Firmware.

Is there any way to order an RV through you and get delivery in Thailand where I live (as you know) with the proper warranty for Thailand….Sony Thailand says they can not take pre orders yet?
Hello Dennie, I’m not certain if either B&H Photo or Adorama are allowed to ship Sony products to Thailand, but you could give that a try. The Amazon link should open to Amazon Thailand which will most likely allow pre-orders at the same time as other Thai dealers.
Hello Brian: I have been shooting Sony for 5 years (A7r3, A73, A6400). Taking delivery of the A7r5 in a few weeks. I will NEVER (never say never!), shoot 8k and am primarily a still pro shooter, with occasional 4K video.
I plan to get 2, Lexar Professional 160GB CFexpress Type A Gold Series cards Up to 900MB/s. The Sony tough cards with the same spec are close to $200 more for a pair. IS THIS speed spec overkill considering I’m shooting primarily still, and occasional 4K videos?
This only pertains to the new Sony 1.4x max. magnification in Sony’s Versatile FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS lens not listed here! I recently preordered first on Amazon but later went to the Sony site and preordered there because Sony’s site gave veterans a discount after checking ID.me that veterans have to use to log into VA sites etc.. If you check with Amazon or B&H etc. it is suppose to ship November 13 BUT when after I canceled my Amazon order and preordered on the Sony site and completed the order up at the top it showed January 2nd or another day I can not remember. Before doing all that I was looking at all the reviews on YouTube many with the macro part showing hand holding capturing bugs and other things with the new Godox V100s and other models so for the first time ever I ordered a flash, only had the basic Sony flash since 2014 when I bought my A7SM1 and only used once to capture Hummingbirds with the FE 24-240mm F/3.5-6.3 OSS and to be honest due to all the Sony cameras I have had the dynamic ranges i have never needed basically if there light you are good to go!!
I was looking foreword to the holidays and captures! So to clear up things I called the Sony sales line and got a person and asked when my order would ship and they repeated January and i would get an email with the date and ask how can Amazon, B&H and others all say November 13 and was told here at Sony we are back logged till January and how they will get it and we can not no reason for that. Even the Google search AI states Nov.13th.
So if you are dreaming of that new lens for the holidays do not get mad even AI is snowed!

NOT November 13 that all others are saying, do not be sad it will get where it has to be so hold on to your FE 90mm macro till then, I gave my 90mm to my brother so he could get a good deal on a trade in and put that money on the new 100mm. Just a few dollars more to add to get the best lens of today, how Sony can sell for such a low price?
Hello Ed, I suspect all the major retailers (B&H Photo, Amazon & Sony.com) will receive lenses at the same time. Sony.com is probably just ahead of the others in reflecting the delay. It’s a beautiful lens. I have it on order as well…

Select that setting and the camera will show you which setting is causing that conflict. Most likely PC Remote needs to be turned off.

I have two Sony 160GB CFexpress Type A TOUGH memory cards which I only use in a7S III for a video mode that’s only accessible that way. For everything else, I use Sony SF-G Series Tough UHS-II 128GB which have more than enough speed for anything other than 8K.
