  1. Live View Tethering to PC/Mac should be available on Sony a99 II. Tethering and on-camera viewing are two totally different things so the fact you can see a Live View Image on the LCD does not mean it can be transferred over USB. Sony made a hardware change beginning with Sony a7S to enable Live View Tethering. Firmware Updates cannot change hardware.

    As for the Remote Camera Control App, it’s a Menu item on a99 II, but I do not know if it functions the same as it does on E-mount cameras.
