Photons to Photos analysis of DxOMark sensor test data reveals Sony Alpha 1 II shows slightly improved dynamic range compared to the original Sony Alpha 1. The tests note subtle performance changes with 0.2-0.3 stop improvement in dynamic range across all ISOs and high conversion gain moves from ISO 500 to ISO 640. Same sensor. New processor.
