Samyang AF 24mm F1.8 FE Lens

Samyang announces the AF 24mm F1.8 FE lens ($499) with a new custom mode for astrophotography which will automatically focus on infinity. The lens features a new function titled “Custom Mode” with an “LED indicator” for astrophotography. The “Custom Mode” can be assigned to the newly-designed Focus Hold button. Once the user enters the custom mode, the LED indicator will blink once, and the focus will automatically move to infinity.

    1. Depends what you’re comparing them to. Samyang/Rokinon AF lenses are optically much better than their manual focus lenses – but there is a reason budget lenses don’t sell for premium prices.
