The kit includes a sliding balance plate attaches to your camera with either of the included 1/4″-20 or 3/8″ camera tie-down screws. It then slides into the head’s top plate, quickly and securely attaching your camera to the tripod. After, you can adjust the balance of the camera on the tripod head by sliding the base plate forward or backward.
