DxO Mark has awarded the new Sony a7R III a score of 100 – the highest score DxO has ever given to a mirrorless camera.
“Sony A7R III achieves an overall DxOMark sensor score of 100 points, the same as the Nikon D850. This makes it the highest-scoring mirrorless system camera to date, beating the A7R II by two points.” — DxO
Bear in mind that his upgrade focused on performance. The boost in image quality is a bonus! Squeezing another 2 points out of an existing sensor is no small feat – especially when it takes it to a best-in-class 100 point score!
OK, but how does Sony a7R III compare to Canon 5D IV?
