Thanks to Isaac Buchinger and Gary Goodman for giving me a VIP Tour of B&H Photo. Though I’ve ordered gear from B&H for the past two decades, Isaac and Gary managed to provide some surprises like their soundproof room for testing microphones and a glimpse of the massive 70,000 sq foot warehouse under the store which is dwarfed by their One Million Square Foot (Whoa!) Warehouse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Possibly the Biggest surprise was discovering that B&H Photo began with Herman Schreiber’s small storefront on Warren Street…just down the street from my New York apartment. Hmmm…wouldn’t that be convenient…
