My Prime Time Debut on The X Factor

Published: November 18, 2011

This is beyond surreal… Much L-O-V-E to everyone at X Factor and Sony for my prime-time debut photographing celebrity portraits of The X Factor Finalists with SONY NEX-5N then passing the cameras out to all the contestants so they could see how easy it was to get great professional results with a camera small enough they can take it with them everywhere.

Check out Season One’s Episode: ‘One of Ten Voted Off’ of The X Factor (USA) for these portraits of Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik, Chris Rene, Marcus Canty, Rachel Crow, Drew, Astro, LeRoy Bell, Stacy Francis and Lakoda Rayne

To all the finalists for welcoming me to their show this week – you guys rock!
To Steve Sommers and Kayla Lindquist of Sony…thanks for believing!
To my personal fashion stylist, my lovely wife Fazia, I love you baby!

  1. Great work Brian, at least they all have a record of their time and look like stars! My biggest frustration with the first NEX was lack of offboard flash control, how did you set these up?

  2. its cool that b/w gives more feeling.. is it the simplicity?> i will have to do it more.. it is neat to show when you try to capture a moment and your brain Can develop the colors for itself, …B&W the magic Aura filter….
