Although the kit includes a sync cord, it also provides an 8-channel transmitter to trigger the flash heads’ built-in receivers at distances up to 394′ as well as giving you control of power, on/off, modeling light functions and Speed Sync activation.
The high performance heads recycle to full power in 1.45 sec. with a short, action-stopping flash duration of 1/1558 sec. Power is variable over a 5-stop range from 31 to 500Ws and the heads are fan-cooled to protect their circuitry and lengthen the life of the flash tube and modeling lamp.
