The Sony/American Photo Party is always my favorite party at PhotoPlus Expo. This year’s party at New York’s Museum of Natural History showcased my photos from Haiti shot with the new Sony A7R alongside breathtaking work from my fellow Sony Artisans Matthew Jordan Smith, Andy Katz, Me Ra Koh, David McLain, Cristina Mittermeier, Robert Evans and Jeff Berlin.
It was truly an honor to show the work in such an incredible museum. It proved to be to the perfect place to show off massive 72″x48″ and 60″x40″ prints from Duggal Visual Solutions. The prints really showed off the stunning detail and amazing color that is possible to achieve from the a7R’s 36.4 mp sensor that isn’t softened by use of a traditional low-pass anti-aliasing filter.
I can’t imagine a better venue to showcase the work and I can’t wait to shoot more with this camera!
