Sony F65 CineAlta Digital Motion Picture Camera won a Scientific and Engineering Award at the 2017 Oscars for its pioneering high-resolution imaging sensor, excellent dynamic range, and full 4K output.

Thankfully the folks ar PricewaterhouseCoopers got the envelope right on this one and Leslie Mann and John Cho handed Sony the Oscar. Sorry John, you can’t use the F65 CineAlta as a Walkman but you can buy one of those here.

Better yet, enjoy lots of the CineAlta tech in it’s sibling, the Sony F55 CineAlta and their little brothers, the Sony FS7, Sony FS7 II & Sony FS5 XDCAM Super 35 Cameras
