Sony 100mm F2.8 STF GM OSS lens

On the opening day of the WPPI Expo in Las Vegas, Sony has announced a pair of portrait lenses: the FE 100mm F2.8 STF GM OSS & FE 85mm F1.8 Lenses.

Sony’s FE 100mm F2.8 STF GM OSS lens ($1498) becomes the fourth lens in Sony’s G Master line-up and it boasts a revolutionary lens design offering the smoothest bokeh ever. 1. Wow. I just shelled out for an A7rii and I’m broke now. So this will help! Hope its focusing is better than the 50mm. Any idea of when it will be released?

  2. it’s odd they did not produce a 135mm portrait lens rather than the 100, given we have already the 85 g master and the Batis 85 as well as the super sharp 90. I understand it’s all about the bokeh but still?
