Metabones Smart Adapter IV (B&H) users should be aware that Metabones offers firmware updates so frequently that even if you just purchased your adapter, chances are fairly good the firmware may not be up to date. It’s well worth keeping firmware up to date since firmware updates improve focus speed and accuracy when using Canon EF lenses on Sony E-Mount Cameras including Sony A7, A7R, A7S and A7II.

Hi, I made the mistake of leaving my adapter connected to the lens the first time I plugged it in. The app won’t recognize it and now I think it isn’t supporting IS on my canon lens for my panasonic MFT camera. Do you know how to recover it? Thank you so much!
Huh??? Why would you ask me about Panasonic cameras? I didn’t even know they made cameras…
