Yup, That’s Annie Leibovitz Shooting Sony Mirrorless

Annie-Leibovitz-Sony-Lincoln

This Behind-the-Scenes video of Annie Leibovitz shooting an advertising campaign for Lincoln Continental shows her shooting with Sony FE 24-70 F4 on a Sony mirrorless camera that I’m guessing is a7RII.

Let’s be honest, Annie can make art with any camera you put in her hands, but shooting Sony mirrorless on a major ad campaign puts her in very good company with legendary photographers like Neil Leifer, Raymond Meier and White House Presidential Photographer Pete Souza.

    1. Yup
      Nikon – 12
      Blad – 7
      Sony – 2
      iphone – 1

She used the Sony twice as much as the iphone… probably a sponcer spot.

  1. And she’s using the FE 24-70 f4, which — if dpreview opinions count — is the worst lens ever made. Horrible test scores! Clearly she doesn’t understand this.

  2. Annie has kit pushed on her like its going out of fashion, she will try and discard what she doesn’t like. a good friend of mine has been one of her many interns for 3 years, more a glorified bag carrier if you ask me but the gossip is good fun…
