Sigma 50mm f/1.2 DG DN Art Lens ($1,399) is the lightest in its class and the brightest in Sigma’s 50mm prime lineup. Driven by Sigma’s dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motors, this lens delivers quiet and high-speed performance and allows for a more compact design, helping make this lens lighter than its counterparts. This classic focal length paired with an extremely wide f/1.2 maximum aperture allows users to effortlessly capture a variety of subject matter. Physical function buttons and switches that improve the lens’s overall ease of use as well as its reliability in the field. Super multilayer coating is used on the glass elements to reduce ghosting and improve contrast.

Its f/1.2 maximum aperture provides rich and beautiful bokeh for creating more artistic and flattering imagery and it allows you the ability to capture detailed images in harsh lighting conditions. Rounded 13-blade diaphragm is a first for Sigma and maintains a circular shape, helping create smooth and round bokeh even when stopped down.
