Like most of sports nation I was shocked and saddened to hear of Junior Seau’s death. I photographed Junior for Ocean Drive back in his days with the Miami Dolphins. Junior called everyone he met “buddy” and he did it in such a way with such warmth that you felt he meant it.
Buddy, you will be missed…

Definitely a sad situation, Brian. Since I’m living in San Diego now, you cannot escape this story.
You took a great photo of Junior that really captured his essence. It is images like this that will allow people to forever look back and remember what a kind spirit he had.
