Sony has suspended a7R V Firmware Update 3.00 after some users reported their camera failed to start-up after installing the version 3.00 update. The update has been pulled from the support website while Sony engineers investigate the cause. When update conflicts have happened up in the past, it boiled down to a single camera setting that needs to be changed before updating. If you already updated without a hitch – you’re fine. Sony engineers just have to figure out which of the myriad of camera setting is causing the conflict.
