Adobe Camera Raw 8.7.1 Adds Sony A7II Support

Camera Raw 8.7.1 is now available as a final release for Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC. This release includes support for Sony A7II (ILCE-A7M2) and bug fix for the Samsung NX1. Several new lens profiles are also part of the update. Photoshop CS6 and CC users can update Camera Raw using Adobe Application Manager.

A corresponding update for Lightroom 5 (version 5.7.1) is expected to be released within the next week. I’ll post that update as soon as it is released.

DNG Converter 8.7.1 is provided for customers using versions of Photoshop older than Photoshop CS6.

  2. hi brian, I downloaded the dng converter 8.7.1 for my alpha a7m2 raw files but whenever I open the converter and browse my files it cannot find it.. what will I do?

I can only see DNG converter in the link , no camera raw will the DHG converter work ? I am using nikon D750 I am unable to open my raw files in Photoshop CC

    1. There is no download link for Creative Cloud updates – you merely open the Creative Cloud Manager and click the apps tab and any updates will be listed.

If you’re having trouble fining it, Open Photoshop CC then click Help > Updates .to open Creative Cloud Manager.

  4. I want to be able to see my AWR files in my windows 7 library. It will not preview them for me in RAW. I also cannot open them in Photoshop even tho I have tried to update both the DNG and Camera Raw downloads. Any thoughts?
Not sure if my computer simply cannot handle the updates.
