Zhongyi Optics Mitakon 20mm f/2 4.5x Super Macro Lens features a high magnification range of 4.5x to 4x, and a minimum working distance of 0.8″, this lens is solely designed for producing greater-than-life-size images of small objects without the need of extension tubes or other accessories. Its compact form-factor makes it ideal for placing into tight or awkward shooting angles and a metal lens barrel offers durability and rigidity.
The lens is capable of creating high magnification macro images ranging from 4X to 4.5X magnification without using extension tubes. The lens is solely for macro use with a lowest magnification factor is 4X.
It incorporates a 6 elements in 4 groups and weighs 8oz (230g) and is 60mm long. The wide angle of view and close focusing distance allows you to compose creative images with more information included into the frame. Greater magnification (up to 13:1) can also be achieved by stacking extension tubes or bellows. The high magnification is also extremely useful for scientific purposes.
This manual focus lens, with apertures from F2 to F16, and uses a 3-bladed iris.
