I do not think it is chipped so no lens info in Metadata and months later how will you know what you shot with. The Voigtlander 10mm f/5.6 is chipped and an excellent lens. and pinpoint stars using digital NPF rule for camera used. But even at 50s still good! Shooting stars will tell how good a lens is, better than a lab!!
I believe this is the same lens that they have released for micro 4/3 and for the DL mount on my drone. On the drone it’s an F2.8. On the micro 4/3 it is as well. It’s a tiny lens if this is the case. But it’s fantastic… I have a lot of shots taken of the flag that we fly in our Canyon taken with it on my website. Sun stars are not that great.
Dramatically different lens designs
Venus Optics Laowa 9mm F2.8 is available in multiple mounts including Sony E – but it only covers APS-C.
Venus Optics Laowa 9mm f/5.6 FF RL is a fullframe lens with a different optical design and since it covers fullframe 9mm offers much wider angle of view than 9mm does on APS-C or smaller.
What is the advantage to the Laowa 9 mm f/2.8 Zero-D, Preto?
Venus Optics Laowa 9mm F2.8 is an APS-C lens.
Venus Optics Laowa 9mm f/5.6 FF RL is the widest rectilinear fullframe lens ever made – 10% wider than the excellent Voigtlander 10mm f/5.6 Heliar-Hyper Wide Aspherical Lens.
