Sony RX10 IV Firmware Update will Support Animal Eye AF

An upcoming Sony RX10 IV Firmware Update scheduled for later this year will support Animal Eye AF according a pre-release notes from to Sony Japan.

Target product: DSC-RX10M4

Software update will include:
1. Real-time pupil AF support for animals (still images only)
2. Real-time pupil AF operability improvement
Support for half-pressing the shutter button
3. Improved operational stability

Scheduled for 2019 release date
