Sony isn’t really known for adding new features to their firmware. But now there is hope for the A7iii getting an intervalometer or the other features that have been in the apps for the A7ii. Let’s hope and pray.
There are several ways to add that feature, Before anything it was the first thing I applied by a “Intervalometer” a “Gentled Auto”, a small plastic box with two Leds. One to make the signal to shoot and one to receive the signal that the camera are ready. You can adjust between a sekond and 30 Min. and I think an expanded scale by manually setting a Dip Switch inside. Google “Gentled Auto”.
