They are stunning photos! and what a gorgeous woman. How long did it take to shoot all of them? Every single image is amazing.
Yup, Kelly is absolutely Lovely! We had about 5 hours with her including hair, make-up, styling and lunch…
Only 5 hours? I thought days. Wow, you don’t have much time to shoot. You must have nailed it really quick at each location then! You are so good.
I notice you used sony a7RII with adapter, I heard focus speed got improved in 7rII, but is it really fast? Do you use it for event photography too?
Five hours is a HUGE luxury. Anything over an hour is great! Yes a7RII is super fast with LA-EA3 and SSM or SAM A-mount lenses!
So you have to shoot in an hour normally? wow, I had no idea. Those shots look so well planned and perfect, I thought it takes long time to set up!
Thank you very much for the info on a7Rll! I will definitely consider to get it!
I’ve had as little as 3 minutes on some shoots and still ended up with a book cover. Thank you very much Jack Nichlaus!
Great work Brian. Love the pool shot in particular – did you gel the key light to cool the colours in the background or do this in post? Compliments her clothes really well.
Brian, finally had a few moments to look at your shoot. Really great job. Love the lighting in each image. Agreed 5 hrs. is a super luxury. Really like the low angle you chose at the pool with Alexa. Makes her legs look a mile long.
Thanks pal! Yup 5 hours is a luxury that allows you to relax and slow down. Thanks for the credit but Kelly’s legs ARE a mile long 😉
Outstanding images Brian Smith. The attention to details is superb. A truly memorable campaign with Kelly Lynch and husband Mitch Glazer.
Thank you Gary!
