  1. This lens is, of course, for manual focusing, as it was announced even during pre-production stage.

Filter diameter, size, thread is 62mm? Already have 49mm and 55mm diameter circular filters, also square filters (on mount adapters). As the lens is being produced for different camera vendors, there were more detailed explanations. Anyway, looks that it may not be possible to use 49mm or 55mm filters with adapters, as there can be vignetting; square filters will be solution as I do have adapters for it.

As I understand from some reviews, this lens (as mentioned APS-C) may be used on full-frame cameras as well; without vignetting; so may be used on both Sony a7II and on Sony A3000, for example.

There are already some discounts for the price, but, what I wanted to ask is real world experience; are those lenses good? With that huge maximum aperture there should be more than enough light; but, question is if there are any issues, CA or some distortions or any similar problems? Bokeh may be amazing as well.

    1. Yes, it can be used on fullframe cameras…BUT it will only cover in APS-C crop mode.
Don’t expect Leica performance at these prices – but it’s a good option for those seeking very fast glass at bargain prices..

  2. Thank you for the comment and explanation, Brian; yes, for that price; no huge expectations.

It was mentioned that flares may occur at some angles when shooting at strong light environments; also, softness at full aperture as well, as expected. Narrowing the aperture may be helpful in those cases.

Have to say that the construction, strong metal made, seems to be good. As manual focus lens, it may provide similar results as old, classic manual lens with adapters. And, even the classic lens with wide aperture may be more expensive.
