Sony RX10 IV features a MUCH faster 315-point focal plane phase-detection autofocus system for focus speeds as fast as 0.03 seconds and front-end LSI processor. With its Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 24-600mm equivalent F2.4-4 Zoom Lens, this is a great compact camera for travel, sports and wildlife photography.

Featuring an updated 20.1MP 1″ Exmor RS BSI CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor, the RX10 IV is capable of up to 24 fps shooting at ISO 12800, as well as recording UHD 4K/30p or Full HD 1080/120p video. The sensor’s back-illuminated and stacked technologies afford a high degree of image quality with clarity and reduced noise to suit working in challenging lighting conditions.

  1. Just added the RX10iv=amazing. In AF-C it is very reminiscent of my a9.
    Incredible that ISO 6400 is usable on a 1 inch sensor!
    Only disappointment is NO apps. Kinda grew found of them on our a6300, a6500, a7rii, RX100iii, and RX100v….for timelaspe if for nothing else (though Smooth Reflections is another killer app!).
    Shame with the RX10v, my now everyday everywhere carry I have to carry an old time dinosaur like intervalometer.
    But maybe I’m the only one enjoying timelapsing with Sony?
    I kinda understand about the a9 being a ‘pro’ camera but for an enthusiast body like the RX10iv new/younger potential buyers will compare to their smartphones eh?
