  1. Hey Brian, please don’t spread misinformation. This is a TILT lens not at tilt-SHIFT lens. Thanks!

my sony a7r111 is giving me an error message: lens unsupported (or not attached properly). My new Lensbaby sol 45 for Sony is attached ok, and I can see the images on the LCD screen. When i tried to import them to Capture One Pro i get another error message “unable to import” these images. Other images on the same card using a Sony lens are find. Not sure where to start . Any suggestions ? thanks, Alison

    1. Hello Alison,

Whenever shooting with a lens without electronic contacts such as Lensbaby, “Release w/o Lens” must be enabled in Shutter / Silent Shooting Settings.

As for Capture One – be certain it’s a version that supports a7R III. If it’s the updated a7R IIIA – that requires a newer version and the original “non-A” camera.

In order to trouble shoot the issue, try simply doing a drag+drop or copy+paste of the images into a folder on your hard drive, rather than attempting to Import using Capture One. I know it’s old school – but it works every time. That will tell you if the issue is support in your version vs an import glitch.
