The 11th edition of the Sony World Photography Awards will provide more opportunities than ever before to win prizes and showcase your work on a global stage.

With a new Sony grant, monthly prizes and new Professional categories, this is your best chance yet of showcasing your photography and taking your career to the next level. We work with winning, shortlisted and commended photographers throughout the year to ensure maximum exposure and recognition.

The Sony World Photography Awards 2018 is Open for Entries with Awards has Four Competitions!

    • PROFESSIONAL – 10 categories, judged on a body of work
    • OPEN- 10 categories, rewarding the best single images
    • YOUTH – for all photographers aged 12-19, a single image responding to one brief
    • STUDENT FOCUS – for those studying photography

National Awards – Entries submitted to the Open competition are automatically entered into the National Awards based on nationality

Please note: you may only enter one of the below competitions. Once you have successfully submitted your images into one of the below, you will not be able to enter the other competitions.
