      1. Hi, thanks for the info 🙂

Endless buffers and speed are certainly nice, but I was sorta waiting for something else, so I suppose I can skip to the RX100 VI.

Especially since the RX100 was sort of an experiment to see if a really small camera could replace my old NEX 5N.

And while it can do a bunch of things the NEX 5N can’t, it also can’t replace the NEX 5N, so I think I can better use the money for an A6500, for which I have every lens I care to have with the exception of a ~100mm prime

If a Zeiss 55mm would turn into an 88mm on APSC, maybe that would be close enough. Should still be sharp enough, even if I use only part of the glass, I think.

        1. That sounds like a good plan to me.

Your math is close, but Sony APS-C has a 1.5 crop factor. You may be thinking of Canon APS-C which has a slightly smaller sensor resulting in a 1.6 crop factor.

  1. This camera size with a longer zoom will be for sure in my everyday bag. I know there is one camera like that out there but I’d prefer to get a Sony.
