  1. Hi Brian… as always, you are an incredible outlet for info, Sony in particular. Was grateful to learn of the Help Guide for the 7r3, but find it tough to use on an iPad… 650 pages!? Left a message on the Sony site asking that they offer a hard copy of this tome. If you hear that this comes to pass, please let us know.

    1. Click to Download Link on your iPad
    2. When it opens Click “Open in iBooks” in upper right corner and it will add a PDF to your iBooks Library.

Of course since it’s a PDF, you can also print out your own hard copy if you want to kill a LOT of trees…

      1. Thanks, Brian. I have it in iBooks… not the issue. It is just too darn big and hard to read on the ipad. Resolution of the file is not great and it is very tedious reading and annoying to find items. Totally agree that personal printing is out of the question. They could print it much more efficiently and I would have it as a reference on my shelf. I know everything is going digital, but good old fashioned paper is still highly desirable in some situations. I have hundreds of books on a Kindle, but would still rather have a paperback in my hands, given the choice.

        1. LOL, like the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished…

There are LOTS of reasons you won’t see a printed version of this free guide and not simply cost.

Books take about a month to print and up to another month to ship to the USA. This is no big deal with Canon & Nikon user guides since their cameras have a 3-4 year product cycle, but due to the lighting fast pace Sony releases new cameras my publisher has given up on Sony User Guides.

I you want a printed a7R III User Guide (that you don’t have to print yourself) you’ll have to wait for David Busch to write one.

  2. Thanks for those links Brian,as per usual I am a day late and a dollar short finding the links . The Sony 650 page guide covers a lot of ground
