    1. Thanks for the update. It will be nice if this actually works. I like my i40 for Sony and my Di700a for Sony is OK. BUT … I have been very disenchanted with Nissin, however, for basically hooking people into their Air system with promises of this receiver for a very long time (Feb. 2015) and not delivering. The system doesn’t deliver value unless there is a receiver that works on non-Nissin flashes. It’s going to take timely delivery of promised products that work before I have a lot of faith in this company.

    2. I bought the Nissin Air system and the Air R and hooked everything up but the Sync port on the Air R will not allow me to use my Flashpoint Rove Light in high speed sync with my a7r. (The flash fires out of sync with the shutter) However if i put a flash in the hot shoe of the Air R the flash will fire in sync with the shutter. Im kind of at a loss. My only thought to possibly solve the problem was finding a hot shoe adapter with a sync cable port to see if it solves the problem.

    3. HI

I was was to use my Yonguno’s for Canon, would I need an Air R for Canon then? And if I was to use my Sony F43AM I would need the Air R for Sony, but using an ADP-MAA

      Thanks

    4. Hi Brian

We own 2 cameras (Nikon / Sony). For the sony I have the Air commander and works seamlessly with my Di700a. If I add a Nissin Air R to our Yongnuo 685 (Nikon) we’ll be able to trigger both flash?

      Thank you for the help

    5. I have the Nissin Air 1 Comander and looking to trigger my Sony HVLF43M (via receiver). All works fine but i cannot increase/decrease flash power in manual mode. Works fine in TTL. Any idea what im doing wrong please? Thank you

        1. Thanks for the quick reply, i may have to purchase the Nissan di700A. Appreciate your help

    6. Hi Brian

Own 2 Sony HVLF43M. Been trying to do off camera flash with Nissin Air 1 Commander and Nissin Air R on both HVLF43M and was doing fine until HSS. Unable to get the Sony flashes into HSS mode even after activating it in Nissin Air 1 Commander. HSS is indicated on the Sony’s but the shutter speed won’t go beyond 1/250. No HSS. Any ideas why?
